GIGS

Sunday 2nd December 2012

Hop Leaf, Reading, RG1 2QZ

Boho at The Hop open-mic hosted by Rob Sowden

"It's the Way I Tell 'Em"

A fairly quiet night at the Hop Leaf, matched by a fairly unattentive audience. I thought my introduction referring to the Rolling Stones' gig being all over the news on Monday morning and Bryan Ferry being asked in interview if he liked the 'Stones may have got a laugh (Jagger ran off with Ferry's fiance, model Jerry Hall) - I thought I was at least going for the right age demographic! No matter, I just got on with it. Perhaps it's because I still can't hear properly in my right ear but I thought I sounded alright actually, though it might also be the new strings (I really ought to change them more than once every five years).

Set 1

Sympathy For The Devil (Jagger / Richards)

Cold Heart

The Things That She Said

Silent Valley

Always Touched By Your Presence Dear (Gary Valentine)

Set 2

Ashes to Ashes (David Bowie)

Last Night I Saw You Standing There

Also don't forget I've got a great lineup for my anniversay / birthday gig....

Anniversary / Birthday Gig 11th December 2012
