At The Water's Edge

Shakti Gawain: Creative Visualization; Living In The Light; Return To The Garden; Creating True Prosperity

It's strange how this has all worked out. It really has been like looking for clues. I come across Wayne Dyer's book, The Sky's The Limit and buy it because it has a quote from Richard Bach in the back in the promotional blurb for The Silva Mind Control Method: "Creative Visualization is really what's behind Mind Control, that is whatever you can visualize you can actualize". And then about six months later, in a bit of a raw state I discover Shakti Gawain's book Creative Visualization. I probably wouldn't have picked it up if it hadn't been for the trail of books before and the quote from Richard Bach.

Anyway, I've just picked Creative Visualization off the bookshelf. It feels special to me though a little worn. It must be one of the first editions, published by a small indie self publisher (likeably called "Whatever") before it got picked up by a major publisher. It's been a long time since I've dipped into it. I flick through the pages and feel I want to read it again as it might refer to what I think I've recently learned about energy and other things... reading ... And sure enough it has. It's obvious really but if you're learning, things should make more sense but there's always the risk of it all being a self-fulfilling prophecy. However Creative Visualization seems to be fitting right in with how I'm thinking now and is actually making more sense than when I've read it in the past.

Living in the Light; Return to The Garden; Creating True Prosperity are no less relevant. They are like extensions from the core concepts described in Creative Visualization and how they can relate to life in practice. I've come to learn that there's always a danger in recommending books but if any of the ideas in Clues interest you then I think there is a high chance you will find Shakti Gawain's books interesting.
