Looking For Clues: Introduction
I was going to call this section "Following My Bliss" but it seems too twee somehow and I'm conscious of over-using the phrase to the extent of turning people off. I don't want people to think I've fallen foul of some cult or indoctrination, or that I'm preaching. Also as I started to write whatever this is, I realised that this wasn't just about "following your bliss". It's the story of suspecting that there might be more to life than meets the eye, the circumstances that created that suspicion, and of trying to find out what I'm meant to do with my life. Looking For Clues actually seems a better title.
This is probably (apart from the blogs etc) the only time I will ever write "live", that is straight to the website. It runs counter to the idea that you should write a piece and then revisit it after a couple of months and hone it. So, please excuse any mistakes that you may find and don't be surprised if the whole thing changes before your eyes as it takes shape.
