A combination of coffee-induced post-performance insomnia and procrastination (but hey give me a break: my car got through its MOT yesterday!) resulted in the following, in response to a retweet from Katherine Marsh (of White Russian fame):

The Penguin's Lament I search for that perfect pebble just out reach
With my heart filled with joy
I return it to my love
Only for her to say:
"It is still not good enough".
