Protect The BBC


Many believe that the existence of the BBC is in danger both from our current Government and the Murdoch family and their News International Corporation. If this concerns you, then please go to the link below which gives guidance on how you can protest to your MP etc.

Why do I think this is an important issue? Personally I'm a big fan of the following:

  • BBC4
  • The Jonathan Ross Radio Show
  • Friday Night With Jonathan Ross (It's okay, I really don't mind losing the Daily Mail demographic)
  • The BBC News Channel
  • The Culture Show

I'm sure there are areas for improvement in the organisation but having seen TV around the world, the BBC is just something I value very highly. Although I can live without one or all of the above, I feel I'd be the poorer for it.
