BLOG 2011

Those of you that know me and / or read these pages will know that I have quite a strong attachment to The Global Cafe and RISC in Reading. (Indeed, I have a bit of a strange story to tell that happened there last week but other commitments have prevented me writing it yet - hopefully Friday).

Unfortunately RISC has had its funding cut. I know I'm biased but I do think Reading will be the worse off if it loses one of the few independent and unique establishments in which to socialise in. It's also a great live music venue. Consequently, RISC is now accepting donations. Any donations made before the end of the month will be matched by Berkshire Community Foundation and LocalGiving.com which means effectively that the value of a donation is doubled.
