My performance was okay last night but it didn't seem as good as last Thursday. I can't explain why - the pub was great and the audience appreciative. The only thing I can think is that I played the same songs as last Thursday and so perhaps it didn't seem as "fresh" to me. Or maybe I was concentrating more on trying to get the "high" I got last week rather than the actual performance. No matter, although it felt like a "workmanlike" performance rather than "inspired", I still enjoyed it. Thanks to Tony Brown for a well organised evening. And indeed the member of the "fan" club who attended also (:-).
